Symptoms of Human Demodicosis

Symptoms of demodicosis (demodex) are often similar to other skin diseases (acne, rosacea). In order to identify the presence of demodex, the laboratory test is necessary. Only lab test on demodicosis can show the presence of mites. The most common symptoms of demodicosis are:



1. Acne on the face, rosacea like symptoms, pink pimples and bumps, rashes, abscesses, sores on the face may be signs of demodicosis.
2. In advanced stages demodicosis pimples and bumps may appear on the back, chest and even on the thighs.
3. Red spots on the face.
4. Greasy skin, enlarged pores.

Itching, tickling and crawling sensation growing in the evening and continued during the night. Hair loss and itching of the hair of the head. Loss of eyelashes and itching. Itching ears.
