Menneskelige Infektioner Med Demodex

Demodicosis in humans(menneskelige infektioner med Demodex) is a skin condition caused by microscopic mites that can live on the skin of humans and animals. The mites called: demodex, it lives in depths of sebaceous glands and near the hair follicles. There are more than 60 species of demodex. Demodex folliculorum, Demodex brevis and Demodex canis live on humans. Animals: dogs, cats and other pets are not as lucky as humans because the rest of the demodex species belongs to them and can not be found on humans.

For the very first time, demodex mites (Demodex folliculorum) were identified in 1842. The size of adult Demodex mite is 0.3 mm - 0.4mm in length. Its tiny body is covered with shells, allowing the mites to stay in the hair follicles. The mites have good digestive system which allows them to eat sebum oil. Demodex can leave hair follicles and stay on the skin surface. You could compare the demodex to an awl and say that Demodex is a night creature. It can not stand the sun light. During the day, demodex mites go deep inside hair follicles, avoiding the light. It come out at night to feed, to breed and to visit neighbours. Cruising speed is 8-16 sm / hour. It seems slow but when you multiply by 8 - 10 hours (average sleeping time for people), the mites can cover pretty long distances. In 8 - 10 hours, demodex mite can crawl from head to toe.

The female demodex mites is shorter and rounder compare to males. These skin parasites live very short life - only a few weeks. The female demodex lay eggs in depths of hair follicle and sebaceous gland. New babies - skin mites are born withing 3-4 days. The old demodex dies decomposing in the hair follicles and sebaceous glands.

Most people have demodex on the skin. But why some humans go through life without even noticing the mites and others suffer from demodicosis?! The answer is - the immunity. Properly functioning immune system is what controls the mites and prevents demodicosis. All humans are different so is our immune system. For many people the immune system does not function as effective as it should. There are many reasons for immune system failure: stress, pollution, alcohol, sigaretts, medical drugs, illness, taking treatments without caution etc. If immune system fails to provide protection, the human demodex mites start to multiply without control. Increased number of demodex mites leads to demodicosis.

In case of demodicosis, when immune system of your skin is weakened, use of natural anti demodex cream is required. Products with chemicals and antibiotics suppress the immune sysytem and should not be used. DEMODEXIN is a natural anti-demodex cream. It contains sulfur with herbal extracts, vitamins and minerals. When applied on to the skin, the active ingredients are deeply absorbed into the skin pores killing the mites. The vitamins and minerals restore the skin's immune system suppressed by demodex. Oils and herbal extracts promote healthier looking skin and prevent demodex from returning.

Alternative treatment for Human Demodicosis

Increased number of demodex mites on your skin can trigger Demodicosis - skin condition that requires treatment. Symptoms of demodicosis often resemble to other skin problems such as mild or severe for of rosacea or acne. The only way to find out if you have the Demodex mites on your skin is to have yourself tested.

Contact your doctor if you have these signs and symptoms:

--hair loss.

ACNE LIKE DEMODICOSIS (MILD FORM)

ROSACEA LIKE DEMODICOSIS (MILD FORM)

If test results come back positive, your doctor will prescribe anti demodex therapy. The treatment of demodicosis is lenghly process. Depending on the severity of your demodicosis, it could take from few weeks to few month to kill demodex mites and rehabilitate the post demodex skin. Generaly, demodex treatment consists of daily use of topical medications (creams, lotions) along with nutrient-rich diet to strengthen the immune system of the skin. Vitamin C, known as ascorbic acid, helps to promote healthy skin and strengthen the immune system. Most people know how important vitamin C can be for strengthening immunity. In case of demodicosis, where immune system of your skin is weakened, use of natural anti demodex cream is requiered. Topical anti demodex products with chemicals and antibiotics suppress the immune sysytem and should not be used.

Besides living near sebaceous glands on face, chin, forehead and other parts of human body, demodex can live on scalp. There are few natural products available which can help to stop demodex infestation. As it was already mentioned, use of anti demodex products with antibiotics and chemicals must be avoided. In order to reduce demodex infestation and bring demodicosis under control, you should use natural anti demodex products: face cream, the shampoo for scalp demodicosis and anti demodex eye lotion.

Demodex Folliculorum, what are the symptoms and available treatment for Demodex Folliculorum.

Demodex folliculorum is a microscopic skin mite that lives in depth of a hair follicle. This tiny parasite can find home wherever there is a hair on human body but most favorite place for demodex is facial skin. Demodex folliculorum eats skin fat therefore it stays closer to sebaceous glands that produces sebum oil.

Demodicosis is more common among animals than humans . These skin mites don't just stay inside the skin, it can leave the hair follicle and crawl to other parts of human body. The sunlight is disturbing for mites. One of the reasons why, these parasites are active at night, keeping people with demodicosis awake due to skin crawling sensation and itching.

Even though most humans have the mites on the skin, they never develop demodicosis (uncontrolled growth of demodex). Good and balanced defense mechanisms of our immune system regulate the mites, preventing them from growing to the point of demodicosis - when treatment is necessary to stop the growth and put the mites under control.

Why some people have demodex folliculorum and others don't? It is all because of our immunity. Some of us - humans have very strong immune system and others don't. It is natural and there is nothing we can do about it except making our immune system stronger: with healthy diets, exercises etc. Why our immune system weakens? The main immunity declined factors negatively affecting our immune system are: aging, recovery from long illness, use of antibiotics and chemicals.

The signs of demodicosis can look and feel like other skin problems such as: rosacea, acne and scabies. You should always see your doctor first and have him to check your skin for demodex mites. There are many anti demodicosis treatments available: topical creams and lotions, shampoos and conditioners for scalp demodicosis, eye lotion for eyebrow and eyelash demodex. Consult with your doctor first and discuss available treatments for demodex folliculorum.
